Hello, glow! Our clean mud mask boasts two ancient remedies: glacial clay that has been used to heal for generations, and Dead Sea salt, as popular in Ancient Jordan as it is today. 

Kisameet glacial clay was deposited during the last Ice Age and can only be found under the rainforest canopy on the land of the Heiltsuk Nation in Kisameet Bay, Canada. Its pristine components include micro- and macro-minerals, which help hydrate dull, lifeless skin and help with removing toxins. 

Our unique blend also includes Dead Sea salt which is filled with minerals like magnesium to help gently exfoliate, unclog pores, and reduce inflammation. Rounding out this blend is hyaluronic acid, which also helps hydrate your skin, and it even helps minimize fine lines.

Apply a thin layer to your face or body, avoiding your eyes. Massage mask into your skin in an upward motion with your fingers or a spatula. Allow the mask to work its magic for 20-25 minutes. The mask will dry and can be rinsed off with water. Apply this mask up to three times a week for brighter, hydrated skin.

Diana’s worldwide quest to find natural ingredients to help heal her dry skin led to the creation of Polished Mud Mask. The unique ingredients include Kisameet Bay glacial clay only found in British Columbia, Canada, and magical Dead Sea salt from Jordan.

Once Diana heard about the healing properties of Kisameet glacial clay, she knew it had to be part of her mud mask formula.

Kisameet glacial clay was formed more than 10,000 years ago at the tail end of the last Ice Age. The clay is only harvested by local Heiltsuk Tribe members, who gather it by hand to ensure ethical extraction and environmental sustainability. It is rich with minerals that help with detox and hydration.

When Diana received a Dead Sea salt skin treatment, she loved the effects: a boost to her skin’s beautiful vitality. She knew this salt — and all of the minerals it contained — was the perfect complement to the clay for her mud mask.

HOW DIANA EXFOLIATES + HYDRATES WITH ONE PRODUCT

Healing my dry, dull skin is my main inspiration for all of my products and I love to share when I find something that really works. The idea for this mud mask started with my own skin, too. In my search for exotic or ancient remedies throughout the world, I heard about the benefits of Kisameet glacial clay, which has been used by the Heiltsuk Nation for centuries, and I immediately thought it would make a fantastic base for this mud mask. The formula took shape from there. Dead Sea salt has amazing minerals that give my skin a little boost and is rumored to slow the aging process. So, of course, it had to be the next ingredient in my mud mask. I’m so proud of this special blend we created and I hope you love it, too!
